Teaching Assistant
Chyngton School requires a teaching assistant to run a reading intervention with small groups of children in Year 6.
We have a wonderful opportunity to join our thriving school and take part in a catch-up programme to support children's progress.
This role is currently required 3 days per week but there could be a full time opportunity for the right candidate
You will receive training to deliver a strategy to improve children’s reading fluency and understanding across two year 6 classes.
You will be working closely with a dedicated and supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants who all want to achieve the best for their children and who will want to make the best use of your skills to achieve that aim.
You will have a track record of supporting and enhancing the education and/or wellbeing of children. Ideally you will have a strength English and reading.
This is a temporary position until the end of July 2024 but it could lead to further opportunities within our academy. (The Seaford Learning Trust).
